Colleagues in schools and colleges have asked us about the relationship between the Careers Impact System and the Quality in Careers Standard.
In short “They are not in competition as they are complementary, and achieve different things”.

As that Endnote says, the DfE hopes (as do we all) that by participating in the Careers Impact System there will be schools and colleges where the Careers Leader and SMT will gain increased confidence to commit to work towards external national accreditation for their careers provision through the single national Quality in Careers Standard.
